Happy National Crazy Day! Nope, I’m not kidding. October 24 is the day to get a lil crazy, and what better way to do that than with some awesome new music? Here are six songs I’ve been loving lately that I bet you haven’t heard before.
1. Dream – Cro
Cro is a German singer that occasionally writes songs in English. This song has such cool instrumentals and a great beat. It doesn’t sound like cookie-cutter American pop, which is definitely a good thing.
I’ve been listening to this nonstop since Chase sang it on America’s Got Talent a couple of months ago. He’s such an original artist with heartfelt lyrics.
Thank you, Abby, for introducing me to this song! It’s a quirky blend of orchestra music and harmonizing vocals. I’ve definitely never heard a song like this one before.
This is definitely a unique one. I’ve never heard a singer that sounds so Jamaican while being Jewish. If you’re into reggae/alternative music, this song’s for you.
I love songs with EDM/dubstep influences, and this one is killer! Seriously, it’s probably my favorite out of the six on this list.
Remember how I said the last song was my favorite? I lied. Neverland is one of the best vocal/digital/everything songs. Gosh it’s good.
You may have heard of one or two on this list, but I hope that you found some new ones to add to your playlist!
Speaking of playlists, I recently got a public Spotify account! There’s a direct link to it in the menu on the front page of my blog. You can listen to this playlist and lots of others to fit every mood.
Have a great rest of the week, everyone!
