How to Look Good Without a Lot of Effort

Helloooo everyone! I hope you’re having a great day.

I’m going to be honest with you – I’m a lazy person. I love doing makeup and planning outfits, but sometimes I just want to sit around with a bare face and sweatpants. That doesn’t cut it every day, though. These are some of the shortcuts I take when I want to look put-together but I don’t want to invest a lot of time!

1. Sleep with your hair in braids.

I get a shower at night, then braid my hair before I go to sleep. When you wake up you have wavy hair with absolutely no effort on your part. That’s my kind of style.

2. Use minimal makeup.

{ Moisturizer, Mascara, BronzerHighlighter, Concealer, Brow Gel }

This is my go-to minimal makeup look. I moisturize, contour, lightly highlight, put concealer under my eyes, comb my brows with tinted brow gel, and apply one layer of mascara. It looks like you don’t have any makeup on, but your face seems brighter and fresher. It only takes about 5 minutes which is great! (Unless you get mascara in your hair like I did while trying to take photos for this.)

3. Apply clear nail polish to your nails.

This is a terrible photo, wow. Way to go Hannah.

Anyways, I like using clear polish because it makes your nails look shiny and healthy. I’m terrible at painting my own nails, but this is pretty forgiving and only takes a few minutes!

4. Brush your teeth!

It sounds so simple and obvious, but never forget to brush your teeth before you go out! Especially if you’re a coffee drinker like me – it can stain your teeth!

5. Neutral Color Outfit

{ Sweater (similar), Jeans, Boots (similar) }

Neutral outfits are really easy to throw together. I couldn’t find any similar tops online, but any sort of two-toned, simple style is perfect.

That’s it for this post! I hope you found it helpful.

Have a great weekend!
