Hello everyone! Happy Monday. Today I’m going to let you have a peek at some of my (slightly expensive) guilty pleasures…not proud, but we all have them. I’m also going to share some things that I find I don’t need to spend the extra money on! That cancels out all the Starbucks I drink, right?
When I Splurge –
1. Starbucks
Well, no surprise there. I’m unashamedly a “basic white girl”. Starbucks is the best!
2. Halo Top Ice Cream
I started getting this ice cream about a month ago and haven’t looked back. It’s a great source of protein and has very few calories, plus it tastes pretty dang good.
I know I talk about this stuff a lot, but it’s completely worth the hype. The coverage is outstanding!
4. Spotify Premium Subscription
I’m constantly listening to music, and Spotify Premium allows me to listen to it without Wi-Fi which is pretty much the greatest thing ever.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing drugstore highlighters out there. However, the quality you get from this one is insane. The pigment is absolutely stunning!
When I Save –
1. Purses
You do not need an expensive purse. You’re going to throw it around, cram it full of stuff, and swing it around by the handles until it breaks anyways. I want that Kate Spade purse as much as the next girl, but $200 and up for a purse is crazy. Like, just no. I’ll take my clearance section purse from Target that’s already lasted 3 years, thank you.
2. Lipstick
Kylie lip kit? No thanks, I’ll pay $6 for some ColourPop liquid lipsticks that work just as well. The colors they offer are gorgeous, and the formula is extremely long-wearing. I also love the Lip Lingerie’s from NYX!
3. Clothing (generally)
Unless you’re investing in a leather jacket or a silk dress, most of the time clothing doesn’t need to cost a lot of money. I typically spend more on shoes because I know that cheaper ones would wear out faster, but buying slightly cheaper clothing won’t make a huge difference in the lifespan.
4. Frozen Pizza
I know this one sounds a little, okay a lot, random. BUT TOTINO’S PIZZA, GUYS. IT’S SO GOOD. AND IT’S ONE FREAKING DOLLAR LIKE WHAT THE HECK.
Calm yourself, Hannah.
*breathes*
Okay.
Not the best choice if you’re into “healthy” food and all that jazz. But every once in a while it’s acceptable.
10. Perfume
I have several perfumes, and none of them have cost me more than $20. I personally think paying upwards of $100 is a bit too much. However, I know that some people are fine with that and that’s totally cool! Just not my personal preference.
That’s it for this blog post! I hope you found it interesting and helpful.
Love you all!
