Hello everyone! If you’re anything like me, you’re wishing that fall weather would hurry up and get here already. I’m definitely over the NC humidity. Even though the temperature outside might not seem like prime fall weather, you can still get in the fall mood with some of these ideas! Cozy vibes for dayssss.
1. Crank up the AC (or fan) and get under a fuzzy blanket.
I’m a sucker for fuzzy blankets! My mom likes to keep the house fairly cold so I can usually be found under a blanket even in the warmer months. This one from Target is my current fave! It’s a full/queen size so you can use it on your bed if you want, or you can just be extra and look like a queen on her throne like I prefer.
2. Listen to a fall-themed playlist.
Don’t have one, you say? Well, you’re in luck. Here’s one I made just for you. Lots of fall feels to get you in the mood.
3. Burn a fall scented candle.
Apple cinnamon and warm vanilla candles are some of my favorites! Target has some great ones for fairly inexpensive. I also loooove Bath and Body Works candles but they’re a bit on the pricey side. I always end up splurging on one or two during September, though.
4. Use warm-toned presets for your photos.
M5 on VSCO is my go-to fall preset. I also like editing my photos in Lightroom, and I always increase the warmth and contrast in fall shots.
5. Wear a sweatshirt and shorts.
If it’s a little cooler outside, you can get away with wearing a sweatshirt or sweater with some cute shorts! I especially love cropped sweatshirts for those weird weather days when it can’t decide what temperature to be. I got mine from Marshalls, but here is a similar one from Belk. I’ve also really been loving these shorts this summer from Target – they’re a “boyfriend” fit which I love, I’m not a fan of tight shorts.
I hope you enjoyed these few tips on how to get in the fall mood! Have any more that you love? Head on over to my Instagram and let’s talk about them! I hope you all have a great week. 💕 Talk to you soon!
