Fall Lookbook – Outfit Inspiration

Hey guys! The weather in NC is currently convinced that it’s still July….but that didn’t stop me from taking photos for y’all! Fall outfits are my favoriteeeee and I couldn’t resist trying out some new clothing combos. I hope you enjoy this post! If you do and you’re new to my blog be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out when I publish a new post. Now, let’s get into the outfits!

1. The “I Want to Look Cute But Not Try Hard”

{ Sweater, Jeans (similar), Shoes }

I love this sweater from Forever 21, it’s super comfortable and is large enough to wear with leggings. The color is super fun and will look great with a navy/red blanket scarf in the winter!

I linked similar jeans to these, I bought them from TJ Maxx and they’re not sold anymore. However, I also love the jeans I linked from Hollister – that’s my favorite place to buy jeans! I wear a size 5 for reference if you want to buy some.

Aaaand of course I paired it with my over-worn , grungy, off-white Adidas. I’ve certainly gotten my money’s worth out of these, I’m pretty sure all my friends are tired of seeing them.

2. The “I Drink $6 Lattes and Take Photos For My Instagram Stories”

{ Shirt, Sweater, Jeans (similar), Shoes }

I’m getting the ultimate hipster vibes from this outfit. This sweater is made of one of the softest materials on the planet, I’m kind of in awe to be honest. PLUS it has pockets that fit your phone. Run to your nearest Forever 21 and buy it ASAP. Not trying to be bossy or anything, just trying to help a fellow girlfriend out. You won’t regret it.

I’ve had this shirt for about three years, I got it from Target for $5 on sale. It’s truly a staple, I highly recommend getting a black and white striped shirt. If you dress it up a little bit you don’t get old-school prisoner vibes. It’s cute, I promise.

These are the same jeans that aren’t sold anymore…I kind of get emotional when I think about them. They fit me so well. When they wear out I may cry a little. Or a lot.

Vans are that basic Instagram girl staple, plus they’re super comfortable. I wear them all the time, you just have to be careful not to get the white part dirty because they’re really hard to clean.

3. The “I Like to Get Outfit Ideas From Pinterest”

{ Sweatshirt (similar), Jeans (similar), Shoes }

Clearly posing for photos isn’t something that I could list under “skills” on my resume. I throw up peace signs when I get nervous.

I love the muted colors of this outfit, and while these Adidas Gazelles are kind of pricey I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a little splurge in the shoe department. They’re really comfortable and they come in several colors.

4. The “I’m Not Good At Sports But I Want To Be Sponsored By Adidas”

{ Sweatshirt, Leggings, Shoes }

I actually do play a sport (volleyball) but I’m 99.9% sure an Adidas sponsorship is nowhere in my future. I mean, it doesn’t hurt to dream but it’s not looking promising.

I live in this sweatshirt in the fall and winter, it’s the most comfortable thing ever and it’s long enough to wear with leggings. Bonus – its sleeves are so long you can put your arms up inside them and have extra fabric to flap around.

Just a bonus for me?

Okay fine.

Moving on.

5. The “I’m Not Going to ECU and I’m Not Even in College But I Want to Look Smart”

{ Sweatshirt was thrifted, Leggings, Shoes }

I bought this sweatshirt for $5 in the middle of the summer at Goodwill. My mom said it looked “gross” and “like an old man’s sweater”.

Well, here it is on the blog.

It’s #fashion.

I really do like ECU but I don’t plan on attending there (let’s go Libertyyyyy). I basically pick schools that I like the colors of and wear their clothes. Shallow? Maybe. Instagram worthy? Absolutely.

That’s it for this years fall lookbook! I hope you liked it and that you found it inspirational. Hope you all have a great rest of the week!
