Hello everyone! Today I’m going to share what would be in my makeup bag if I could only have 10 pieces in it! Seeing as I’m the type of girl that combines three highlighters and four mascaras almost every time I apply them, this was a bit of a struggle for me. However, these products are some of my favorites and I think I’ll be using them for years to come!
A) Yes, I realize that this bottle is disgusting.
B) Yes, I’m aware this photo is terrible quality and too dark.
Thank you for pointing out my insecurities.
This concealer is my FAVORITE, hence it looking slightly beat-up. (No, I don’t have an excuse for the photo quality.) I use this baby every day, regardless of whether I’m wearing other makeup. I have some serious bags under these eyes and trust me, they’re not designer.
Is there a more iconic duo than Lash Paradise and Voluminous Primer? I think not. The primer helps separate and lengthen the lashes, and the mascara volumizes and adds definition. It’s safe to say I’m a fan.
This is some of the best inexpensive powder I’ve found. There is little to no flashback, it gives a smooth finish to the skin, and prevents foundation and concealer from creasing.
This bronzer has a major presence in the beautysphere for a reason. First, it smells like coconuts. I could wear only coconut scented products for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy. Secondly, it blends out like a dream. No need to worry about patchiness or lack of pigmentation. Thirdly, it’s $9!! Yep, you read that correctly. Now run, run as quickly as you can to your nearest Target or Walmart and buy it! (Preferably Target, the Walmart’s around here a lil sketchy.)
Okay, quick storytime about Walmart. I went there the other day to grab some ramen noodles and a prescription (priorities). When I was standing there contemplating what ramen I should purchase a man freaking RAMS INTO ME WITH HIS CART. Um, excuse me? I was just standing there minding my own business, I didn’t think I’d need a “Caution: Human Ahead” sign in front of me. He didn’t apologize, either. I grabbed my picante chicken ramen (the best flavor, fight me) and headed indignantly on my way, bruised hip and all.
Back to your regularly scheduled programming. I hope you enjoyed that brief intermission.
I hope it’s not cheating if I put a blush palette in my bag, but “Gold Rush” is my favorite blush of all time. Period. No exceptions. I want to get this as a single so it will be easier to travel with, but it’s worth it to pack this palette.
I finally hit pan on this recently and it was a sad day. This highlight somehow matches me perfectly with both fair skin and a tan, it smells like vanilla, and there are no glitter chunks. Oh, how I despise highlighter with glitter chunks.
8. Colourpop “Give It To Me Straight” Palette
I use this the most out of allll my eyeshadow palettes. It’s perfect for natural looks with the warm toned mattes, and you can spice things up with a bright shimmer shade for a more glam look. (The third shade from the left busted so I had to take that pan out. RIP little eyeshadow, you will be missed.)
9. Colourpop Eyebrow Pencil
I’ve tried several eyebrow pencils in the past but this one is definitely my favorite! It has a very fine tip so you can be precise with your application. I use the spoolie on the opposite end for combing my brows and also separating clumpy lashes.
This has been my go-to liquid lipstick for over a year now. It’s the ultimate “your lips but better” color for my skin tone – it’s a brownish nude with a pink undertone. This somehow goes with every. single. makeup. look. Very impressive, to say the least. It’s also very inexpensive so if you’ve been looking for a good, affordable, nude lipstick you just found one!
I hope you enjoyed this post! Sorry I’ve been all over the place with when I’ve been posting recently, I’ve been so busy with schoolwork and that has to be prioritized.
Have a great rest of the week, everyone!
