Hey guys! How exciting, this is my first post of 2019! That seems crazy to say, I can’t believe another year has gone by.
One of my most popular posts last year was “What I Got for Christmas 2017”, so I thought I would keep the tradition going and write another one this year! Sorry it’s a bit late, I’m still recovering from the car accident and haven’t felt like taking photos. I ended up not including the couple of clothing items that I recieved because I can’t wear jeans due to a knee injury. I may include them in another post in the future!
Before we get into the items I just want to clarify that I am in no way trying to brag about the presents that I received! I’m so grateful for everything I got and I just wanted to share some of the things with you guys. Okay, now that that’s out of the way – let’s get into what you all came here for!
I got a variety of travel size dry shampoos that I’m looking forward to trying out! I’m planning on doing a review of all of these soon so definitely stay tuned for that.
Skintimate Moisturizing Shaving Cream – This is my favorite brand and style of shaving cream! It makes your legs so soft. This kind also came with a shave “lotion”, but I think that was part of a holiday promotion because I can’t find it online.
Venus Razor – I was in desperate need of a new razor and this one is a m a z i n g. It’s so sharp and glides easily on your knees and ankles.
B&BW Body Wash – This body wash smells like peppermint so it’s perfect to use in the mornings to wake yourself up!
Philosophy Shower Gels – My grandma almost always gives my mom and I Philosophy shower gels for Christmas. I like using these in a bubble bath!
Wen Cleansing Conditioner – I’ve really enjoyed using this when I plan on straightening my hair after my shower. It can be heavy and make your roots a bit greasy after a day or two, but it makes your hair so soft and silky. It also smells amazing!
Cleanser – I’ve been using this everyday since I got it and I can already tell a difference in my skin! I’m excited to see the difference after using it consistently for a longer period of time.
Mask – This is a gentle mask that can be used every day, and I’ve been doing just that. It smells very clean and it’s not harsh on the skin at all. I’ll keep you updated on how my skin is looking in a couple of months or so!
Wipes – These are much more gentle than a lot of other cleansing wipes I’ve tried. They take off your makeup without the use of a lot of harsh chemicals or strong fragrances.
I love receiving face masks as gifts because they’re so fun to use! I’m excited to try these out.
Cole & Sav – I already read this one and I loved it! Cole and Savannah are some of my favorite vloggers and their love story is so special.
The Secret Keepers – I also read this one over Christmas break and it was soooo good. I’m such a fan of Trenton Lee Stewart’s previous books, I highly recommend checking them out.
Full Disclosure – This is the only book that Dee Henderson has written that I haven’t previously read. I’m currently three chapters in and OBSESSED. She’s such a talented crime author, you’ll get sucked into the story immediately.
The Noble Servant & The Orphan’s Wish – I love Melanie Dickerson’s “Medieval Fairytale” series, and these are the only ones I haven’t read in it. She remakes classic fairytales into realistic, medieval times-based stories. I’m looking forward to reading these!
Are these not the most beautiful books you’ve ever seen? I love the Puffin in Bloom collection, and these two completed my set.
I actually got three candles from various people for Christmas, but this is the only one I photographed. Twisted Peppermint is probably my favorite! However, I also love the other two: Clementine Pumpkin (currently sold out) and Watermelon Lemonade.
How cute is this little wallet? I currently have several Starbucks cards in it that I accumulated over the holiday season.
I don’t have a photo of this one, but just know that I’m in love!! It makes lattes and cappuccinos along with regular coffee so I’ll be saving a lot of money at Starbucks once my giftcards run out.
Isn’t this painting beautiful? My mom ordered it from my sweet friend @elisevw.art! She’s so talented, you should definitely check out her Instagram.
The Piano Guys Concert Tickets
I’ve loved The Piano Guys for the longest time so I was SUPER excited to see that I received tickets to go to their concert in February! I’m really looking forward to it, I’m sure they’ll be amazing in person.
Minus a few makeup products I’ll be featuring in a beauty haul later on this month, that is the majority of what I was given this Christmas! I also got other things from my boyfriend/friends but I didn’t want this post to be like 58368395 years long soooo I decided to limit it to what was given to me by my family. I really hope you enjoyed this post!
Love you guys!
