Hey guys! In honor of summer being right around the corner I thought I would spill the tea on my FAVORITE places to buy swimsuits! It can be so hard to find cute swimsuits that A) are a happy medium between Sports Illustrated-inspired and something my grandma would wear B) not $100+ dollars and C) comfortable and flattering for your body type. I know some of the suits I’m mentioning might not work for everyone, but if you have a body type that is similar to mine I think they’ll fit you perfectly. Without further ado, let’s get into the swimsuits!
Rad Swim is one of my all-time favorite companies and they were kind enough to send me this suit to feature on my platforms! Keep in mind that I NEVER feature anything on my blog/Instagram that I don’t truly love, so know that if I’m posting about something then I’m genuinely obsessed with it.
This tankini top is called the “Hannah” (hehe that’s me) and I’m actually wearing the tween version of it! The adult version cut a bit too low in the front for my personal comfort level so I decided to go with this one. I’m wearing a 14 which fits me perfectly! If your chest is larger than mine I don’t think this would fit, but I’m a size B and it’s not too tight. I absolutely adore the pattern of this and will be wearing it alllll summer.
They have a ton of other cute styles to pick from so be sure to check them out if you’re looking for a great quality, modest swimsuit!
Target is probably my #1 place for inexpensive tops and bottoms. The only solid bottoms I have that don’t go with a matching set are high waisted black ones from Target! I’m also in love with crocheted tankini tops like this one – the yellow color is so happy!
First off, I’m lowkey extremely proud of this edit – it’s very film-y and vintage-y and it’s my current vibe.
I’ve always been paranoid about ordering swimsuits on Amazon but I decided to give it a shot. This particular swimsuit had free returns so I was like “eh, let’s try it”.
LET. ME. TELL. YOU.
I’ve never had a bathing suit fit me as well as this one does. I’m kind of disproportionately shaped (larger thighs/hips and a small waist) and it’s so hard to find bottoms that fit me properly. These fit like a glove and the top is adorable as well! I’m usually not a bikini person but this style is precious. It comes in a lot of other patterns as well so I may snag some more!
The majority of my swimsuit tops are from Belk. Here’s the trick to getting them for dirt cheap: wait until after swimsuit season. I always go to Belk in September/October when all of the swimwear is on clearance and it’s like a gold mine. I can usually get $40/$50 tops for under $10! They have so many cute styles and cuts to choose from.
I don’t have any photos in my suit from Walmart but they have a lot of cute and extremely inexpensive ones! I got a one-piece from there last year and I believe it was less than $15. The quality isn’t as good as some of my other favorite suits, but it’s a good affordable alternative to some of the higher-end brands.
I hope this post helped you find some new places to shop for swimsuits! If you pick up anything cute I’d love for you to shoot me a DM over on my Instagram so I can see!
PS – I’m writing this while on vacation so stay tuned to my Instagram so you can keep up with my travels. 🙂
